The Latest Little Updates We’re Loving
Four recent home purchases that have had a big impact. The last one is our favorite buy of 2020—and we’re using it weekly!
Door stoppers: Does anyone else* hate those metal spring door stoppers? When we updated the back entryway, I ordered these from Amazon and LOVE the way they look. They blend right in with the baseboards. We’ve switched out all the stops in the house!
*I mean ADULTS. My sweet little niece totally enjoys playing with the springs…
Linen sheets: this heavenly sheet set was one of my Black Friday purchases. I highly recommend these sheets for hot-bodied sleepers (like Andrew). Linen is known for its breathability and it can absorb as much as 20% of its weight in moisture before feeling damp—meaning you’ll stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. In the few months that we’ve had these sheets, they have become softer with each wash. Can you tell we’re fans?!
Cordless vacuum: this super lightweight vacuum was another one of my Black Friday purchases. I am the type of person who LOVES vacuum lines and our townhome only has a few rugs on the hardwood floors. We love that this vacuum works on hardwoods and carpets and can switch between the two with the touch of a button. I can clean all three levels in our house with a full charge. We’ve ditched the Swiffer in favor of this little vacuum!
Solo Stove: Instagram got me. I gave in and bought the ranger fire pit and Andrew and I have been using it almost every week—it has a nice patina already! Our new thing is to make a cocktail and start up a fire on Friday nights in celebration of the weekend. Do yourself a favor and buy one! It is our favorite purchase of the bunch! They always seem to be on sale fyi…
