I wake up everyday in a good mood. I love coffee and champagne and I will never turn down dessert!
I live in Charlotte, NC with my husband, Andrew. I started this site to share the DIY projects that keep us busy on the weekends. We're inspired by historic homes, quirky bungalows, mountain A-frames and fixer uppers. We're adding personality to our newly-built townhome by mixing styles and learning as we go!

I do not wake up every day in a good mood and I'd choose a second serving of dinner over dessert.
I set the budget and help execute Heidi's home visions. I'm also on a lifelong quest to one day convince Heidi that form follows function. I'm a mechanical engineer but I should have been a teacher. Believe it or not, I enjoy putting together Ikea furniture and learning how to build things by watching YouTube tutorials.
