Living Room Design: Three Different Ways
My sister and her new hubby are renters. They want to elevate their living room utilizing the furniture they own and layering in new pieces they can reuse down the road.
My sister and I have very similar styles—we show up to most family gatherings in the same boots or top and we live hundreds of miles apart! Her new husband has great taste, but he tends to gravitate toward dark and masculine pieces—don’t most men?! These newlyweds already own some great base pieces that are neutral and easily paired with new items for an elevated look. I created three different looks, keeping their couch, coffee table and media console as the base of each. I know her hubby can be difficult to sway away from his favorite walnut wood tones, but I mixed in several in the hopes that seeing it will help him visualize it in their space! Which one would you pick?
